Abstract

The research was conducted in Pagaden Village, Pagaden District, Subang Regency, at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level, in a climate type C (moderately wet) from March 2024 to June 2024. The purpose of this study was to examine the interaction effects of various varieties with growing media to determine the vitamin C content in spinach plants. The environmental design used a factorial randomized block design (RBD), consisting of several spinach varieties (V) with 2 levels: V1 = Red Spinach and V2 = Green Spinach. The growing media (M) consisted of 4 levels: M1 = Rockwool, M2 = Cocopeat, M3 = Rice Husk, and M4 = Cocopeat and Rice Husk. The results of the study showed the vitamin content in several varieties of spinach (Amaranthus Hybridus L.) and growing media using the microgreens method.
