PERAN PENYULUH PERTANIAN LAPANG (PPL) DAN KELOMPOK TANI TERHADAP PENERAPAN TEKNOLOGI DAN DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP KEBERHASILAN USAHATANI PADI (Oryza sativa,L)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Role of PPL and Farmer Groups on the Application of Technology and its impact on the Success of Rice Farming.  This study used a survey method of rice farmers.  Respondents were determined by drawing a simple random sample obtained by 70 respondent farmers.  The form of research is verifiative and the analysis technique used is path analysis with two paths.  Based on the results of the study obtained. PPL performance obtained 77.12% good criteria, the role of farmer groups 77.98% good criteria, the application of technology 78.54% good criteria and the success of rice farming 69.40% good criteria. There is a positive correlation between PPL and the Role of Farmer Groups as indicated by the correlation coefficient number r = 0.847. Structural equation I : Y = 0.391X1 + 0.515 X2 + ε and structural equation II : Y = 0.642X1 + 0.097 + X2+ 0.284 + ε. The role of PPL and the role of farmer groups have a positive influence on the application of technology, with their contributions of 32.35% and 43.60% respectively.  The Role of PPL, the Role of Farmer Groups and the Application of Technology have a positive influence on the success of rice farming with their respective contributions of 46.56%;  6.54% and 23.13%.
