FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KINERJA PENGGUNAAN TRAKTOR RODA DUA DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP EFISIENSI BIAYA DAN EFISIENSI USAHATANI PADI (Oryza sativa, L)

This study aims to determine the Factors Affecting the Use of Two-Wheeled Tractors and Their Implications for Cost Efficiency and Efficiency of Rice Field Farming. The unit of analysis is the Farmer Group and rice farmers in Cilamaya Wetan District, Karawang Regency. The technique of determining respondents was carried out by census size 45 units. The analysis technique used Multiple Linear Regression analysis and paired t test (t test paired). The results of the study obtained the use of two-wheeled tractors influenced by factors: Area and location of land (X1), service rates (X2), Knowledge (X3), Availability of Cash Capital (X4), Speed of Service (X5), and Availability of Labor (X6), which can be in the equation: Y = -0.440 X1-0.095 X2+0.179 X3+0.206 X4+0.257X5+0.019X6 + Ɛ. From the six variables above that show real influence are: X1, X4, and X5. The use of two-wheeled tractors increases the efficiency of rice farming costs from Rp 20,025,649 / ha to Rp 18,220,962 / ha or a savings of 9.00% equivalent to 18 HKP of work. The use of two-wheeled tractors increased the efficiency of rice farming from R/C = 1.84 to 2.02. Occurs due to savings in the cost of outpouring work on land processing activities. The performance of the use of two-wheeled tractors in rice farming shows a low achievement of 49.83%. This is because the number of tractors controlled by the group is limited, namely one unit, while the area of land with various conditions is quite large. It is recommended to add such tractor units by purchasing on credit. In the event that the speed of service is achieved 0.57 ha / day where the situation can be increased to 0.8 ha / day. It is recommended that the tractor operator can improve his performance and the manager needs to pay attention to the performance of his tractor engine related to its maintenance and maintenance Keywords: Hand Tractor, , Production Cost and Efficiency.
