Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence farmers' decisions to sell mangoes with the ijon system and their impact on sales. The technique of determining the respondents used was purposive sampling obtained the size of 70 people, each consisting of 35 farmers selling with the ijon system and 35 selling non-ijon.  The analysis technique used is multiple logistic regression, unpaired t test.  The results of the study obtained the Performance of the Decision of Farmers to Sell with the ijon System, namely (Y) indicated because the Business Scale is Little (small) 62.86%; Urgent due to Capital Needs 77.14%; The number of buyer urges that came 74.29%; Not easy market access 80.00%;  and Disobeying the 80.00% License Prohibition on Selling. The decision of farmers to sell with the permit system is (Y) influenced simultaneously by factors such as Business Scale (X1), Capital Needs (X2), Buyer Pressure (X3), Market Access (X4), and Prohibition of Selling by License (X5).   Of the five factors or variables, the real and largest influences in order are: Market Access (X4), Prohibition of Selling Ijon System (X5) and Business Scale (X1). Sales of ijon system have a real effect on reducing sales results per kg. The sales price of the ijon system per kg is IDR 4,246 and non-ijon sales are IDR 5,500 so that there is a difference or decrease in the price of IDR 1,254 or 30.19%. It needs attention from the government and scholars so that the sale of the ijon system is not rife and has become more widespread. The sales system is unilaterally detrimental and forbidden according to Islamic religious beliefs.
