Research on waste farming includes various innovative approaches to manage and utilize waste, especially organic waste. Various methods such as BSFL technology, Waste Banks, and the use of microorganisms offer innovative solutions for waste management. These approaches not only help reduce waste but also provide economic and environmental benefits in a sustainable manner. Descriptively qualitative, this research examines the process of organic waste management as a form of environmental awareness, and benefits the surrounding community. Maggot cultivation, particularly of black soldier fly (BSF) larvae, has significant environmental and economic benefits. The concept of entrepreneurship focusing on the public service sector by elevating maggot cultivation research provides an attractive business opportunity. The results can carry out business processes by selling maggot as animal feed, derivative products such as maggot flour and organic fertilizer can also be marketed, providing additional income for farmers.
