Abstract

 Lettuce is a vegetable commodity that has quite bright economic prospects. The provision of organic and inorganic fertilizers can help increase the growth of lettuce plants. This research aims to study the effect of a combination of biological organic fertilizer and NPK on the growth and yield of Lettuce Plants. The experiment  was conducted from April to Mei 2024 at the experimental field of PT. BIO (Bandung Organic Innovation), Jatisari Village, Tanjungsari District, Sumedang Regency, at an altitude of 876 meters above sea level. The experiment used the Randomized Block Design (RAK) method with six treatments and was repeated four times consisted of : A (Control); B (Biological Organic Fertilizer); C (Biological   Organic Fertilizer and NPK 75 kg ha-1); D (Biological   Organic Fertilizer and NPK 150 kg ha-1); E (Biological   Organic Fertilizer and NPK 225 kg ha-1); F (NPK  300 kg ha-1).  The results show that the combination of biological organic fertilizer and NPK affects on plant height, leaf number, fresh weight of plant, and root volume. The biological organic fertilizer (B) gave the best results on plant height, number of leaves and fresh weight of plant.
