Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effect of auxin PGR concentration and scion length on the growth of avocado seedlings (Persea americana L.) using the grafting method. The experiment was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two treatment factors: the first factor was auxin concentration (0 ppm, 5 ppm, 10 ppm, and 15 ppm), and the second factor was scion length (5 cm, 10 cm, and 15 cm). The observed parameters included shoot growth time, number of shoots, number of leaves, scion length growth, and success rate percentage. The results showed an interaction between the two treatment combinations on the success rate parameter, with optimal auxin concentrations of 5 ppm, 10 ppm, and 15 ppm, evident in the success rate percentage. The ideal scion lengths of 10 cm and 15 cm were observed in the parameters of shoot growth time and success rate percentage.
