Analisis Kekerabatan Jagung Manis (Zea mays L. saccharata Sturt) Berdasarkan Karakter Agronomi dan Daya Hasil Ms Unsika Generasi 8 di Dataran Rendah Kabupaten Karawang

Corn is one of the horticultural commodities that has a high source of carbohydrates. The objective of this study is to determine the degree of affinity of sweet corn (Zea mays L. saccharata Sturt) MS UNSIKA generation 8 based on agronomic parameters. The research was carried out in Karawang District, Pupuk Kujang Cikampek. The research was conducted between February 2024 and May 2024. The research method used was a single-factor Randomized Blok Design (RBD), consisting of 10 treatments and repeated three times, resulting in 30 units of experiment. The treatment used 6 MS Unsika generations M8 sweet corn grains are MS unsika, SR Latanza (Gamma ray irradiation 200 gy), SR Bonanza (Gama ray irrigation 200 Gy), SR Jambore (gamma ray irradation 200gy), SR Letanza (SR Unpad Galur), SR Sweet Boy (SR UnpadGalur) and 4 comparing varieties are Talenta F1, Maestro, talenta F2, Bonanza. Then the NTSYS program is used to perform cluster analysis. The results of the research show that there is a wide diversity between branches and varieties comparing. The resulting coefficient value is 0.15 with a genetic gap of 0.333 to 0.677. In the intersection, it requires extensive genetic diversity because it can minimize the chances of inbreading
