Analisis Daya Dukung Lahan Berdasarkan Kebutuhan dan Ketersedian Lahan Pertanian dan Perkebunan di Kab. Purwakarta Tahun 2020

Abstract

Agriculture is one of the main livelihoods in Purwakarta Regency. Creating high community expectations for good land carrying capacity. It is necessary to carry out an analysis of the carrying capacity of the district's land. Purwakarta for agricultural and plantation commodities in order to find out the root of the problem and assist the community, stakeholders, as well as the government in designing and making decisions to increase agricultural and plantation yields in Purwakarta Regency efficiently. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method. By utilizing the latest data (2019-2020) from the Central Bureau of Statistics for Purwakarta Regency, we calculated the carrying capacity of land availability (SL) and land requirements (DL). After doing the calculations, it was found that the carrying capacity of the land for the Purwakarta area experienced a deficit, which varied from low to high. So an analysis was carried out in terms of topography, soil type and aspects of spatial planning, in order to obtain the supporting factors and causes of the deficit. The results show that very fertile soil types (Andosol) are only 10% of the total soil types in Purwakarta. Areas experiencing very high deficits are Sukatani, Plered, Jatiluhur, Purwakarta, Bugunsari, and Babakancikao Subdistricts, which are sub-districts with high population, downtown areas, and with less fertile soil types. An analysis was also carried out regarding the conversion of land functions, it turned out that there was a deviation in the form of built-up land in the planned agricultural spatial pattern of 753.2 Ha. This research can be used as a reference for stakeholders and the government in making decisions regarding agriculture and plantations in Purwakarta Regency.
