Clean water supply in Indonesia faces several challenges, including limited access, poor water quality, and unequal distribution. Cikembar District in Sukabumi is a rapidly developing area that lacks adequate water supply infrastructure. This study aims to design a raw water intake structure and transmission pipeline to optimize the Cikembar Water Supply System (SPAM) while integrating forest and water resource conservation principles. The research uses a descriptive approach with both qualitative and quantitative methods through field observations and interviews. The results show that the Cikembar SPAM utilizes water from the Ubrug Hydropower Plant (PLTA) reservoir, supplying three Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) with a total capacity of 130 liters per second, serving 10,135 household connections as of June 2024. However, water supply is often disrupted due to PLTA maintenance and decreased raw water discharge during the dry season. Therefore, an additional intake, raw water transmission network, and collection basin are planned to ensure continuous water availability. The integration of forest and water resource conservation aims to support sustainable water supply by maintaining the quality, quantity, and continuity (3Q) of drinking water services at an optimal level.
