INVENTARISASI JENIS DAN TINGKAT KESEHATAN POHON NAUNGAN DI JALAN TADJIMALELA KOTA SUMEDANG

The green lane is an area along the roadside planted with vegetation ranging from undergrowth to overgrowth. Its functions include absorbing pollution from vehicles, reducing disturbances, providing shade, and enhancing aesthetics. An assessment of tree health on the Green Lane of Jalan Tadjimalela, Sumedang Regency, was conducted using the Forest Health Monitoring (FHM) method. This method uses three parameters: location of damage, type of damage, and severity class. The aim of the study was to determine the health condition of the roadside trees. The study was carried out in June 2024. Data collection was conducted using the census method, analyzing all trees along Jalan Tadjimalela, Sumedang Regency. The results identified 15 tree species with a total of 122 individual trees. Among these, 3 trees were categorized as healthy, 71 trees as lightly damaged, and 48 trees as moderately damaged. For all trees regardless of their health category regular maintenance and monitoring are recommended to ensure their continued health and function within the green lane.
