Author Guidelines

  • Authors who wish to submit their manuscripts to Geoplanart Journal are expected to adhere to the following requirements:

    1. Originality
      The manuscript must be an original scholarly work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

    2. Template
      The manuscript should follow the Geoplanart journal template, which can be downloaded from the this page

    3. Language
      Manuscripts may be written in either proper and formal Bahasa Indonesia or in clear and academic English.

    4. Abstract
      Authors are required to provide an abstract in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, with a maximum length of 200 words each.

    5. References
      References must follow the journal’s citation style (APA Style). The use of reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero is strongly recommended.

    6. Authorship
      All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the work and must agree to the final version of the manuscript submitted.

    7. Plagiarism Check
      All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using similarity-checking software (e.g., Turnitin). The maximum similarity index allowed is 20%.

    8. Peer Review Process
      This journal applies a double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers’ comments before a final editorial decision is made.

    9. Publication Ethics
      Authors must follow ethical guidelines in conducting and reporting their research. Any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or redundant publication is strictly prohibited.

    10. Article Processing Charges (APC)
      Currently, Geoplanart Journal does not charge any submission or publication fees.
